I only take on a small number of bookings per month, this means I will become fully booked more quickly. It also means you can expect a more focussed level of service... Unlike most cake designers, I will not be working on numerous other cakes at the same time as yours, so you can be assured your cake will not be hurried and it will be given the exclusive love, care and attention it deserves.

WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?
Once availability is confirmed for your date, I can discuss your initial wedding cake ideas by email or telephone including the cake size needed for your number of guests, cake decoration and design. A mood board or invitation to your Pinterest board is a great tool for this.
I can then provide you with a quote which is valid for 28 days.
Don't worry if you are unsure what design details you would like just yet, as many people secure their date many months before they have finalised a design for their wedding cake.

All wedding cakes require a booking fee of £100.00 paid through the online shop. Rest assured, once your booking fee is paid, your date is booked, leaving you to enjoy the rest of your planning.
We work on a first come first served basis and dates cannot be held without a booking fee.
Once you have paid your Booking Fee, I recommend a consultation around 4-6 months before your wedding date to finalise the design details and discuss delivery. The consultation can be in person, via video or phone call, whatever works best for you.

As summer is such a busy time for making wedding cakes, consultations are held between November and March, but I could accommodate other dates if I have availability.
Please note I do not offer design consultations for simple buttercream cakes with fresh flowers.
I will confirm your chosen design along with flavour choices around 5-6 weeks before your wedding date and send your final balance invoice for any outstanding payments.
The remaining payment is due 4 weeks before the wedding date.

Consultations prior to paying your booking fee are charged at £30.00 and include a Luxury Cake Taster Box for you to take away and enjoy at your leisure, this cost is payable in advance and is non-refundable.

If you are unable to make a consultation date then our Luxury Cake Taster boxes can be supplied at a cost of £30.00 if collected from us in Penwortham or can be posted within the UK.

If you would like to sample my cakes before booking, you can purchase a Luxury Cake Taster Box from my online shop. Boxes are £30.00 and are available for collection from Penwortham by appointment or UK delivery.

Before You Book
​
Design and tasting consultations for couples still deciding are £30.00 for two people and are held in Penwortham by appointment. Consultations take approximately one hour and are available on specified dates throughout the year.

After You Have Booked
​
Once your wedding date has been secured with your booking fee, your full design consultation is complimentary. Together we will refine your cake design, discuss every detail of your wedding styling and sample some cake flavours. You can enjoy your Complimentary Luxury Cake Taster Box prior to your consultation or collect on the day to take away and enjoy in the comfort of your own home.

If we have already finalised your cake design during the quotation process, a face-to-face consultation may not be necessary.
​
Can't Visit in Person?
​
Many of my couples book their wedding cake entirely by email, telephone or video call. If you are unable to visit, your design consultation can be held remotely, with your Luxury Cake Taster Box delivered to your door, allowing you to enjoy the experience from the comfort of your own home.

Once your date, design, and flavours are confirmed, you can move forward with your wedding plans knowing your cake is completely taken care of.

Around 5–6 weeks before your wedding, I will be in touch to reconfirm every detail and check if anything has changed.
Your final balance invoice will then be sent 4 weeks before your wedding.
​
From there, you can simply relax while I handle everything behind the scenes. I will liaise directly with your venue to arrange delivery and provide the required allergen form, cake details, and all necessary business certificates.
​
On your wedding day, your cake will be delivered and set up with the utmost care, ready to take its place as a beautiful centrepiece. When you walk into the room, you will be delighted to see your vision brought to life in sugar.
