QUALITY AND HYGIENE
All our ingredients are the finest and the freshest: We only use free-range eggs; top quality sugars and natural extracts (never essence or artificial flavourings).
There is fresh lemon zest and lemon juice in our lemon sponge, Madagascan vanilla in our vanilla sponge and gorgeously smooth Belgian chocolate for our ganache. As for conserves and curds, we only use the finest and sometimes make our own when the fruit is in season.
We have passed the Level 2 Food Hygiene with top marks and we are proud to say that Somerset District Council's Food Hygiene department has awarded us with the top score of 5. You will find us listed on the Food Standards Agency website.
